Shoot And Score (4 out of 5)

Now, I love a good break away game. You know, those games where you shoot the colored balls into the mess of balls at the top of the screen to clear them out and eventually clear the board? Well, Bouncing Balls is no different than some of the others out there, but here is my gamer’s review on why you should check it out when you have time.

Game Basics - Bouncing Balls is a free to play shooting game on Yahoo! Games. While it is like all of the other games of this type out there, it is still fun to play.

You start off with three colors, move up to four, five, and so on, so that the challenge keeps going and going until finally, *squish* - you meet the large, gray bar at the top when it squishes you and ends your game. The shooting is very easy, you use your mouse to point the end of the gun and then click to release the ball. There are straight shots, shots where you have to slide a ball into a hole to grab the colors around it, and those bank shots where you have to calculate where the ball will go when you shoot it. No matter what level you are on, you will have fun trying to figure out the best, quickest ways to get through the level and move on.

Graphics - Well, there isn’t really much here in the way of graphics. I mean, it’s balls and more balls that are colored in primary colors. The board is not fancy in any way, and the gun you shoot the balls out of is just a plain silver pointer. So, not a lot of graphic arts went into making this game either. But, it really does not need much. It is just a simple shooter game and worth playing no matter what the graphics look like or lack.

Overall, I am going to give Bouncing Balls a 4 out of 5, just because it does provide a good time when you just need a break to, well, break something. I would recommend it to anyone, kids, adults, tweens - anyone will enjoy playing this one.
