Moodlets in The Sims 3 can come from doing a large range of activities while playing the game. The goal is of course to not have any negative moodlet effects which can come from such activities as not using the bathroom for an extended period of time, eating spoiled food, being exhausted from lack of sleep, having a buzz crash from caffeine, being nauseous, being smelly, and many other things.
There are also just as many positive moodlets that your Sim can receive for doing regular activities as well. Some of the positive ones include: sleeping like a king, being well rested, eating a divine meal, being squeaky clean, having an exhilarating shower, being wide awake from drinking at a Sims 3 bar, being in a beautifully decorated room, being entertained, having a blast, enjoying music, and many more.
The Sims 3 bladder moodlets are caused from not peeing for an extended period of time. There are many other moodlets that are also available from the major needs that a Sim needs. This guide will just focus on the bladder moodlets in The Sims 3.
The Sims 3 Bladder Moodlets
When your Sim is going through their daily tasks in the Sim world, their bladder needs will go down, thus meaning that your Sim will need to relieve themselves in the bathroom. If a Sim fails to do so, they will be effected by it negatively. Here are the bladder moodlets that are in The Sims 3.
Has To Pee – this is one of the Sims 3 bladder moodlets that lasts for 2 hours and has no actual mood effect on your Sim. This moodlet just lets you know that your Sim has to go use the bathroom. After the 2 hours have passed, the Sim will then have the “Really Has To Pee” moodlet which can lead to a big mess! If your Sim has the Steel Bladder trait, they will never receive this moodlet. When going to the bathroom, your Sim will have the nude blur, unless you have the Sims 3 nude mod on!
Really Has To Pee – this is one of the Sims 3 bladder moodlets that lasts for 1 hour and has a negative 30 mood effect on your Sim. This moodlet is letting you know that your Sim has really got to use the bathroom, like right now! If your Sim doesn’t make it to the bathroom, after the 60 minutes has expired, they will pee on themselves no matter where they are or who they may be in front of! This leads to a terribly embarrassing situation where your Sim can be the joke of the town, and they will also receive the Embarrassed moodlet! If your Sim pees on themselves, they will also receive the Smelly moodlet. If your Sim has the Steel Bladder Sims 3 trait, they will never receive this moodlet.
