About Sims 3 Traits
The Sims 3 traits are used as a personality guide for each individual Sim. Five chosen traits are available for each Sim in the Create-A-Sim mode. They can also be inherited through genetics for babies (two traits) and if a toddler grows up well, they can chose a third trait. When a Sim becomes a teen they choose their fourth trait, and as a young adult they can choose their last trait.
Sims that do not like their traits are able to change them with the “Midlife Crisis” lifetime reward.
