Guide to the Peteran Priest in The Sims Medieval

The Peteran Priest is an important hero that is in “The Sims Medieval." This priest is the head of one of the two faiths in the game. Find out more about the Peteran faith, how the priest earns money, experience points and much more in this article.

    The Sims Medieval Peteran Priest

    The Sims Medieval Peteran Monastary   The Peteran Priest hero Sim in “The Sims Medieval" are similar to monks. They believe in peace, and live their life by a strong moral code that has compassion for others. They are friendly and can convert many Sims in the Kingdom to the Peteran faith.

    The building that is associated with this hero is the Peteran Monastery. This building is placed on the Watcher’s Bluff or Religious district and is right next to the other church that you can also place in your Kingdom. You can place both of the churches in the Kingdom or none at all.

    The Sims Medieval Peteran Priest – Special Abilities and Items

    The heroes in “The Sims 3 Medieval" have special items that help them advance in the game and special interactions that they are able to use that other heroes cannot.

    The Sims Medieval Peteran Priest Giving Sermon   The Sims Medieval Peteran Priest uses the Pulpit, Evangelism Platform, Scribe Table and the Archives. These can all be found at the Peteran Monastery.

    The priest uses the pulpit to give a sermon each day. You are able to set the time of the sermon, so be sure your hero is there each day to give it. The priest can give a sermon in the following styles: casual, somber, humorous or insightful. They strive to have high popularity, so be sure to watch for feedback during the sermon and change the style of it if you need to.

    The Sims Medieval Peteran Priest can evangelize just outside of the monastery. They stand on the platform and can speak to the people at any time of the day. Make sure your priest has a high level of focus when doing this and they will boost the popularity of the church and gain more experience points.

    The priest can convert Sims to the Peteran faith. To do so, converse with the Sim and keep it positive. Pray with the Sim a few times. Then, convert the Sim to the faith. The higher the level the priest is, the higher the chance of converting a Sim to the faith is.

    Priests able to “Write with the Watcher" to gain experience points and also writes religious scrolls that your hero can sell for extra money.

    Priests can also study at the archives. This generates a nice amount of experience points and will also give your hero a positive buff if studying for about an hour. This buff will unlock the “Insightful" tone for a sermon which usually quite well received by the Sims attending.

    The Sims Medieval Hero Peteran Priest – Making Money

    Money isn’t easy to earn in this game, especially for the priest. If you want to decorate the monastery with beautiful surroundings, you should probably use The Sims Medieval cheats for money. If you don’t want to use the money cheats though, you can still earn money the honest way.

    Daily Income – The Sims Medieval hero Peteran Priest earns money each day based on their level. The higher the level the hero is, the more money they earn each day.

    The Sims Medieval Peteran Priest Writing with the Watcher  

    Sermons – each day at the specified time, the priest will give a sermon to their congregation. The tone of the sermon and how receptive the Sims are to it will determine how much money the priest will earn after the sermon is over.

    Write with the Watcher – the priest can earn some extra money by writing with the watcher at the scribe table. To make money by doing this, you will need to sell the religious documents that the priest writes. You can do this by selling them to the Kingdom’s Merchant.

    The Sims Medieval Hero Peteran Priest – Level Progression

    Heroes in “The Sims Medieval Limited Edition" can only reach level 10. It is fun reaching this level with all of the heroes though. As the heroes level up, they will gain benefits and sometimes even unlock things for the hero. The Sims Medieval hero Peteran Priest’s level progression is shown below.

    Level 4

    • Experience Points Required: 3,600
    • Daily Income Earned: 39
    • Benefits and/or Unlocks: increase in giving a sermon successfully, convert Sims to the faith and evangelizing.

    Level 5

    • Experience Points Required: 5,200
    • Daily Income Earned: 52
    • Benefits and/or Unlocks: increase in giving a sermon successfully, convert Sims to the faith and evangelizing.

    Level 6

    • Daily Income Earned: 72
