Victini is the first Pokemon to legitimately have the number zero in a region’s Pokedex. He’s also the first Fire/Psychic type pokemon in the entire series.
Victini is only available to those who purchase Pokemon Black and White before April 10th, 2011. To capture him, gamers must download a Mystery Gift from Nintendo WFC that contains a Liberty Pass, granting them access to Liberty Garden, the region where Victini is found. After capturing him, players can add Victini to their party.
Victini is a small, rodent-esque Pokemon with a distinctive pair of ears that form a V shape, possibly designed to stand for its name or for its “victory Pokemon” designation.
Its Pokedex entries vary depending on which version of the game (Pokemon Black or Pokemon White) the trainer possesses.
Pokemon Black Pokedex Entry:
"This Pokemon brings victory. It is said that Trainers with Victini always win, regardless of the type of encounter."
Pokemon White Pokedex Entry:
"It creates an unlimited supply of energy inside its body, which it shares with those who touch it."
Victini is a sexless Pokemon, and does not evolve.

- HP: 100
- Attack: 100

Victini’s Strengths and Weaknesses
As a Fire/Psychic type, Victini is weak against Ground, Rock, Ghost, Water, and Dark type attacks. He’s highly resistant against attacks of the Fighting, Steel, Fire, Grass, Psychic, and Ice types.
Offensively, Victini’s attacks are very effective against Grass, Ice, Bug, Steel, Fighting, and Poison types. Trainers using Victini will have difficulty with Pokemon of the Water, Fire, Dragon, Rock, Psychic, and Dark type opponents.
With amazing base stats, devastating attacks, and a huge number of hit points, Victini deserves a place in any trainer’s squad. It’s rare for a legendary Pokemon to be available to trainers so early in the game, and keeping him by your side will certainly make Pokemon Black and White’s trainers and gym leaders much easier to conquer.
