“The Sims 3” is the most realistic and advanced of The Sims games that have been released so far. The game allows Sims to advance through different life stages, have a career, have ambitions and a lifetime wish, their own unique The Sims 3 traits, family, friends, take vacations and much more.

Sims are also able to have babies, but to do so, they must first have sex (the “Try for Baby” option works best for having babies). Sex in The Sims 3 is also known as “WooHoo.” This guide on The Sims 3 WooHoo will help to explain how you can get your Sims to WooHoo, and where WooHoo is able to happen.

How to WooHoo

Only Sims who have a high enough relationship are able to WooHoo. Sims also have to be of the opposite sex to have a baby, unless you have a mod on to override that. To have the option to “WooHoo” with another Sim, the other Sim must find your Sim “Extremely Irresistible.”

To have your wanted Sim’s partner want to have some Sims 3 WooHoo with you, you need to start interacting with them. Romantic interactions such as kissing, holding hands, making out, stroking cheek, leap into arms, flirting, etc., will start the interactions needed to have the option to WooHoo.

If your Sims are out in the park or another community lot, they can do all of those interactions and not get the option to WooHoo. That is because they aren’t able to WooHoo there. Think instead of these interactions at these locations as foreplay. Once your Sims find each other irresistible, take it home!

Where to WooHoo

The most common place Sims 3 WooHoo takes place is in the bedroom. It is private and Sims like to WooHoo on beds. After the Sims are finished WooHooing, they can cuddle in the bed, talk on the bed and even WooHoo some more. When Sims have this interaction with each other, they are under the covers, and are not even The Sims 3 nudist mod doesn’t change that. Instead, you just see them go under the covers, move around, hearts fall on the bed, and then they lay on the bed together cuddling.

• In the Military Base (must first Tour it)
• In the Science Lab (must first Tour it)
• In the Theater (must first Tour it)
• In a Tent (must have The Sims 3: World Adventures)
• In a Sarcophagus (must have The Sims 3: World Adventures)
• In a Time Machine (must have The Sims 3: Ambitions)
• In an Elevator (must have The Sims 3: Late Night)
• In a Hot Tub (must have The Sims 3: Late Night)
• In a Shower (must have The Sims 3: Generations)
• In a Tree House (must have The Sims 3: Generations)
