The Sims 3 Ghosts
The Sims 3 ghosts can be found in each of the towns or neighborhoods in the game. You can find some at the cemetery (at night of course) and you can also create your own ghosts by killing the Sims you want to play as ghosts with. To do this, you will need to have another Sim they were close with take the “Oh My Ghost!” opportunity after the Sim dies.
One of the really fun things to do in “The Sims 3” is to have your Sim have a The Sims 3 ghost baby. Find out how to have this special kind of baby with this guide!

How to Have The Sims 3 Ghost Baby
To befriend a pre-made ghost in the town, you will need to hang out at the cemetery at night to meet the ghost and interact with it. You will then need to invite the ghost over to your house to “Try for Baby” with (similar to The Sims 3 WooHoo except your Sim has a chance of getting pregnant).
Another option that is easier to have The Sims 3 ghost baby with, is to just make your own ghost for you to interact with. The quickest way is to have a romantic relationship with a Sim, invite them to move in or get married, and then when you have control of them, kill the Sim you want to become a ghost. Harsh, but it is effective. After the Sim dies, the other human Sim will soon get the “Oh My Ghost!” opportunity to revive the Sim and have them return as a ghost. This is great because you now are in control of a ghost and don’t have to hang around in a cemetery waiting for them to show up at night for a short amount of time. After your Sim reminisces with the ghost Sim, go back to your house and “Try for Baby.”

Chances of Having The Sims 3 Ghost Baby
The chances of having a ghostly baby are the same as having one of The Sims 3 vampire babies with a vampire.
If one Sim is a human and one is a ghost, they have a 50% chance of having The Sims 3 ghost baby.
If both of the Sims are ghosts, they have a 100% chance of having a ghost baby in "The Sims 3."

The Sims 3 Ghost Baby and Kids
You won’t know if your Sim is pregnant with a ghost baby until they are born. If it is a ghost baby, they will glow the same color as the ghost parent. Consider this before you kill a Sim (if that is your method of having one of The Sims 3 ghost babies).
The ghost baby and kids age just like regular Sims. They do have special protection though from dying. They will not be able to die from fire, starvation, electrocution, drowning, or the mummy’s curse.
The ghost kids don’t have any special powers though, except for looking cool. They also carry around their tombstone in their inventory (or they can place it on their lot) and show up as being “dead” on the family tree.
If you no longer wish for a ghost in your game to be a ghost, you can have them eat The Sims 3 ambrosia meal to bring them back to life.
