FrontierVille Crops: Growing your own Food
Crops in FrontierVille act much like crops in Zynga’s farming game, FarmVille. Like FarmVille crops, FrontierVille crops require purchasing seed, planting the crop in available land, and waiting for the crop to mature. Once matured, the crop can then be harvested for coin, food, and experience. Unlike crops in FarmVille, FrontierVille crops do not require the land to be plowed ahead of time first: a plot of soil appears when planting the seeds and disappears upon harvesting. A crop’s growing speed can only be hastened by a neighbor tending the crop. Neighbors can also harvest the crop, netting rewards for both the neighbor and the player.
A crop can also wither if left unharvested for too long. Withering takes as long as the crop takes to grow; for instance, if a crop takes 3 hours to grow, it will take another 3 hours to wither (for a total of 6 hours). Neighbors can revive dead crops on a visit, however, making it worthwhile to leave withered crops alone until a friend revives them.

Clover is not required directly for any goals; however, Clover Tea and Bees, both collection items from clover, are required for the goals Make Medicinal Tea and Toys for the Kid, respectively.
The clover collection includes Clover Tea, Bee, Four-Leaf Clover, Clover Honey, and Clover Blossom, and rewards 25 food and a free sheep.
Tomatoes

The pumpkin collection includes Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Seeds, Pumpkin Muffin, Jack-o-Lantern, and Pumpkin Bread; it rewards 25 XP and a free goose.
