Elevator for Sims 3
The Sims 3: Late Night expansion pack gave players fun, new additions to add to their games. Some of the best additions included: vampires life state, Sims 3 hot tubs, high rise buildings for apartments, clubs, lounges, and bars, the subway system, the food truck, and the elevator for Sims 3. The elevator is a returning object that can be used in large buildings and in homes in The Sims 3. Find out more about it with this guide!
Elevator in The Sims 3
The first time you will probably come across the new elevators in The Sims 3 will be in the new town of Bridgeport from The Sims 3: Late Night expansion pack. Elevators are needed for Sims to move to the higher level floors where their apartment is, or perhaps go to where the new hotspot is at for the night, and they want to dance and have some drinks there.
Elevators may be added to any multistory building, and even to a home. You may need to use the Sims 3 cheat to open up the ability to purchase and place locked items, but this is rather easy to do.
Most of the time, Sims can enter and exit elevators just fine. They do sometimes take awhile to go up and down, but that is how they are in real life too. Sims won’t be able to die from a crash in one (they are rather safe). Sometimes though, Sims will fall out of the elevator or even get stuck in the doors before exiting it. This is quite humorous to watch. It is speculated that if a Sim has either the unlucky Sims 3 trait or the clumsy trait, this will happen more often to them, and even more if the Sim has both of these traits.
WooHoo in the Elevator for Sims 3
Sims that are at the young adult age and older will have the option to WooHoo in the elevator. This can be brought up when you select the elevator and it will say “WooHoo with…” Sims will really prefer only having sex in The Sims 3 with their significant other, unless they want to chance ruining the relationship they are in or are perhaps Heartbreakers.
Sims can also WooHoo and get pregnant when having sex in the elevator, so again, stick with just the ones you want to have a baby in The Sims 3 with, if you are concerned about this anyways.
After a Sim has WooHoo in the Elevator for Sims 3, they will receive a positive moodlet for “Stride of Pride” which will last for 2 hours from WooHooing away from their home lot. This will be given to both of the Sims and is a +60 moodlet, so it is really pretty good!
